Preparing Your Device for Downgrade
Once you have backed up all your data, it’s time to prepare your device for the downgrade process. This involves removing any apps that are not compatible with iOS 17 and ensuring that your device is running on the latest version of iOS 18 beta.

- Scroll down and tap on General.
- Tap on Software Update.
- Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS 17 installed by tapping on Download and Install.
- Wait for the update to download and install. This may take some time, depending on your device’s internet connection speed and storage capacity.
- Once the update is complete, your device will reboot automatically and you should see the iOS 17 setup screen.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your device with iOS 17.
- When prompted, restore your data from your backup using iCloud or your external hard drive.
